Dinner with Fakher and family
Aug 31

While interviewing Fakher several days earlier, he asked if we would return for dinner.  We cheerfully accepted.

Knowing that Fakher was a boxer, I reflected that I hadn't arm wrestled anyone in close to half a century.  So I challenged him...
There was a time (after working an Olympia sawmill, 1956) when I might have given him a run for his money.  But he flattened me with ease.
But what we came for was...
That's right, a real Iraqi meal
Ghzwan and I relax after dinner...
...along with our trusty driver, Suleyman--a wonderful Jordanian man who has been very helpful to the CRP projects
Our thanks to Anaam for a quite wonderful dinner
