| Fremont is a district in Seattle. Every year the Fremont Arts Council sponsors a parade celebrating the Summer Solstice. For the past 15 or more years a tradition has been to open the parade (unofficially, and occasionally with threat of police action) with a nude bicycle ride, with heavy emphasis on body painting.
